A couple of weeks ago, I was walking home from the Atakule area, when I decided to stop at the mall in Yukari Ayranci?
What’s that? You didn’t know there was a mall in Ayranci? Well, that may be the reason that there aren’t many shops in it.
Ansera Alisveris Merkezi has just a handful of stores, a Migros, and a bunch of offices.
HobiEvi is one of the shops that is leaving. Sad for me. But great for her! They should be popping up in GOP any minute now!
It’s a great little shop with lots of arts & crafts materials.
The owner, Bilge Altinbilek Jordan, is very friendly and her English is great! In addition to the arts & crafts materials, she carries games, puzzles, models, remote controls cars, and other fun stuff in the store.
She may even carry some Christmas items!

🙂 Great timing, eh? We have a few craft stores in Ankara – but not so much in the areas I am interested. Earlier this year I found chalkboard paint online shipping from Istanbul – couldn’t get it in Ankara. Now I paint little chalk boards everywhere. Absolutely love it.
